I really don’t give a rat’s who you root for – That was a game and the game won!
As fans, we’ve been trained over the past long while NOT to put our bums on stadium seats.
When we stay home to watch the spectacle on TV, we’ve been convinced to watch drone-length repetitive commercials and take breaks while the actual games are being played.
The great game was hijacked and we die-hards wanted it back so desperately.
But are there enough tragics left to drag our bums back with the possibility that the dirt has been washed down the drain?
I hope so. I really, really hope so.
